A. Irene Ploughman

Passed away suddenly on Tuesday, April 8th, 2025.  Annie Irene Constance Ploughman aged 75 years, beloved partner of John Deagen of Bay Bulls NL. Originally from Trinity, NL, Irene was born to Frank and Bessie Ploughman (deceased).

Irene was predeceased by her daughter; January Esther; her parents, sisters; Louise and Brenda, brother Frank, brothers-in-law; Chesley, Wayne and Michael Deagen and sister-in-law; Mary Rumbolt.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her partner; John, brothers: Robert (Edna), Gordon (Mary), John (Evelyn) and Eugene (Debbie), sisters; Daphne (Armand Richard) and Florence (Joseph Vokey), sister-in-law; Toni Ploughman, brothers-in-law; Donald Deagen (Ann-Marie) and Philip Rumbolt, nephews; Richard Rumbolt (Lorraine) and Remi Rumbolt (Tanya), niece; Rebecca Burke (Johnny), great nephews: Zachary (Rhiann), Nathan, Colby and Will, great niece; Ella, special friend Mary Larson, as well as a circle of other relatives and friends.

As per Irene’s requests, cremation has taken place, and there will be no visitation or funeral service.

If friends so desire, donations in Irene’s memory may be made to the SPCA.
