It is with profound sadness that we announce, Ann Marie Deagen, of Bay Bulls passed away peacefully in the presence of her loving family at the ICU of St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at 68 years of age.
She was predeceased by her parents; Lawrence and Mary Williams; parents-in-law Jerome and Esther Deagen; brothers Cleary and Albi; sister Madonna Hawkins; sisters-in-law Mary Rumbolt and Irene Ploughman; and brothers-in-law Phil Chafe, Vince Hawkins and Michael Deagen.
Leaving to mourn is her husband of 41 years, Donald and their fur baby Twinkles. Also grieving her loss are her sister Mercedes Chafe and brother Pius Cole (Blanche), brothers-in-law; John Deagen and Philip Rumbolt; nieces and nephews: Tracy (Tony), Lorne (Elaine), Laureen (Rob), Shane (Erin), Heather (Mark), Richard (Lorraine), Remi (Tanya) and Rebecca (Johnny), great nieces and nephews and a circle of very close friends.
Ann Marie was a longtime employee of Bell Aliant and retired in 2009. She loved spending time in her beautiful home in Bay Bulls. The window with the best view she would say, and she wasn’t wrong. She loved a game of cards, listening to music (especially the cabin party) and spending quality time with her husband, family and friends. There’s nothing Ann Marie wouldn’t do for her loved ones.
As per Ann Marie’s request, cremation has taken place and the family will be having a celebration of life at a later date.
If friends so desire, donations in memory of Ann Marie and the beautiful person that she was may be made to the SPCA as she dearly loved her fur baby Twinkles.
“Forever in our hearts. We will cherish the memories forever.”
