Anthony "Tony" Gerard Carew

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Anthony “Tony” Carew surrounded by his family at Health Sciences Centre on July 19, 2024, at the age of 64.

He was predeceased by his father Bernard, brother Andy, infant siblings; Bernard and Lisa, nephew John and Teresa Mulcahy (mother of Natasha).

Leaving behind with broken hearts, his three girls who were his world: daughter Natasha, granddaughters; Cheyenne and Emma, loving mom Lizzie, sisters; Eileen (Donny),who was there to care and support him for the last two months and Bernadine (Frank), brother Kenny (Tammy), numerous nieces and nephews, especially Meagan and Cody (Taylor). He will also be dearly missed by his lifelong friends and cousins; Raymond, Terry, and Tommy, as well as countless good buddies from over the years.

We, the family, wish to thank Dr Annette McCarthy for your support and care over the last few months.

At Tony’s request, cremation has taken place. A Graveside Service will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, Witless Bay on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 11:00 am (procession to start from Ryan’s Funeral Home at 10:30am). Family and friends are invited back to the Knights of Columbus Building following cemetery service to remember and share stories of Tony Fu.
