Anthony McCarthy (aged 66 years) had a sudden but peaceful passing at his home in Bay Bulls on Saturday November 4th, 2017. Predeceased by his parents Elizabeth Lundrigan, Anthony McCarty, Step-father Harry Lundrigan and brother in-law Dermott Bradbury. Leaving to mourn with fond memories his Brother Martin McCarthy (Annie), Sister Marguerite Slaney (Rick),Cousin Emma Ghaney (Don), Daughter Michelle Bennett, and John Wile (who he thought of as a son). He will be missed by his nieces and nephews Chris and Scott McCarthy, Derm, Deirdre, Kathleen and Gail Bradbury, Krista and Kelda Ghaney; home care workers Tina ,Elaine and Denise. His special friends Pad-will O'Dea (Marilyn deceased), Margie and Billy Ryan, Leonard Lynch, Mary Sampson and all the boys from the shed.
Cremation has taken place, Visitation will be held at Ryan's Funeral Home, Bay Bulls on Thursday November 9th from 2-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, November 10th at 10 am from Sts. Peter and Paul RC Church, Bay Bulls. Inurnment to follow at Our Lady of Mount Loretta RC Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations would be gratefully appreciated to the CNIB or Our Lady of Mount Loretta RC Cemetery fund.
