Audrey Anne O'Rielly

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Audrey O’Rielly on June 20, 2024. Audrey passed peacefully, surrounded by her family and in her most favorite place – at home.

She was predeceased by her parents, Gregory and Loretta Mullowney; her step-mother, Regina Mullowney; her parents in-law, John and Josephine O’Rielly; her brother-in law, Ed Curtis; her sister-in-law, Sharon O’Rielly; her sister, Valerie Mullowney; her nephew, David Emberley, as well as her most cherished friend and sister-by-heart, Janet Lundrigan.

Audrey was the heart and soul of her family and leaves to mourn with broken hearts, her husband John, daughters Jane (James) & Erin, and special friend Larry Lundrigan. She will be fondly remembered and forever missed by her brothers-in-law, Alastair (Pat), Randell (Barb), Phonse (Anne-Marie), Ronald (Ekie), sister-in law, Bev, and all her beloved nieces, nephews, and their families. She also leaves to mourn members of the Power, Greene, and Mullowney families, and a large circle of friends.

Audrey was a tenacious and well-respected businesswoman. She will be missed by all her past and present colleagues and especially missed by her mentor, Patrick O’ Callaghan (Paula Bouchier), whom she loved dearly.

Audrey was a jack-of-all-trades and master of many. She excelled in everything she set her mind toward. She was an exceptionally talented cook and loved nothing more than feeding her family and anyone else who came to her table. She dearly loved the outdoors and spent many happy hours at the cabin, as well as in her vegetable and flower gardens. She had the biggest heart for animals. Although four of her favorite doggies are missing her, we know she has been met in Heaven by a whole pack of furry friends.

Resting at Ryan’s Funeral Home, Bay Bulls on Sunday, June 23rd from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Monday, June 24th from 1:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sts. Peter and Paul RC Church, Bay Bulls on Tuesday, June 25th, 2024 at 10:00 am with inurnment to follow at a later date. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to Rainbow Riders through their website, www.rainbowridersnl.com.
