It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of a dear husband, son, brother, uncle and friend, Bill Luby of Tors Cove, December 27, 2017 age 67. Leaving to mourn with lots of wonderful memories his wife Barbara of 38 years, his sisters Theresa, Genevieve, Dorothy, his brother Thomas, their families, and many friends. Predeceased by mother Mary Jane (Jennie), father Thomas (Tom), brothers Michael and Wilfred, sister Mary. Bill was an amazing educator (Ret. 2005), a lover of history, and a connoisseur of nature. For years, his determined effort and passion for sharing our scenic communities has greatly contributed towards the growth of tourism along the Southern Shore. His knowledge of nature and the Southern Shore coastline has been an inspiration to us all. Resting at Ryan''s Funeral Home, Bay Bulls, Friday December 29th, 3-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place Saturday, December 30th, 2017 at 10 am, St. Patrick''s RC Church, Witless Bay. Cremation to follow. Donations may be made to Tors Cove Cemetery Committee, Tors Cove, NL A0A 4A0.
