Bradley Walsh Obituary
WALSH, Bradley (Aged 47) Passed peacefully away on April 21, 2021 in the presence of his loving family following a 10 year battle with brain cancer. Predeceased by his grandparents Laurence and Lucy Howlett and Patrick and Nellie Walsh. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories parents, David and Lenora (Howlett) Walsh, brothers Russ, David (Melissa) and Grant (Maria), adoring nephews and special buddies Cole and Cooper. Uncles Patrick Walsh (Peggy) and Norman Walsh. Aunts Francis (Walsh) Congdon, Judy (Walsh) Furlong, Delores (Williams) Walsh, Joan Scott and Marie (Howlett) Chafe as well as large circle of family and friends, including his coworkers at Shannahan’s.
Special thanks to Aunt Marie for all her help and support over the last three months. We will never forget everything you did for Brad.
Brad enjoyed life to the fullest, had a heart of gold and loved to put a smile on the face of anyone he met. Brad had a life long love of music; he especially loved playing the drums, sometimes to the chagrin of his family in his early playing days.
Brad’s family would like to extend their thanks to family and friends who delivered food and visited Brad over the past three months. Further thanks to Brad’s health care professionals who helped him on his journey, with special thanks to his home health care provider, Sunbi.
Resting at Ryan’s Funeral Home, Bay Bulls, NL on Saturday, April 24, 2021 and Sunday, April 25, 2021 from 2pm to 9pm each day. Funeral to follow at Saints Peter and Paul Parish Church in Bay Bulls, NL on Monday, April 26, 2021 at 10am. Due to COVID restrictions attendance at the church is limited to 100 people.
In lieu of flowers, cheque or cash may be sent to Bradley D. Walsh Memorial Scholarship fund at Mobile Central High.
It’s been said that a man’s friendships are one of the best measures of his worth, if that is the case, Brad was rich indeed. He had so many friendships, each of which he cherished.
