Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital in the presence of her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Steve, her parents, sisters Mary (Mame) Davis, Madeline Cahill and Angie Norris, brothers John and Lar. Leaving to mourn her children Wayne (Mary), Carl (Eileen), Ken, Denise (Raymond), Gerard (Lisa) and Jeanie, also her grandchildren Gloria, Ashley, Stephen, Ronald, Kevin, Amelia and little Jack, great-grandchildren Jordan, Emma and Alex. She will also be sadly missed by her step-granddaughter Mandy, who spent countless caring hours with her while in hospital. Also her nieces and nephews, and very special friends Genevieve, Edna, Tilly and Sharon. She was a very loving mother, grandmother, sister, great-grandmother and friend. Catherine's door was always open to whomever wanted to drop by. She welcomed you with a smile, and chat over a cup of tea and some homemade sweets. Resting at Ryan's Funeral Home, Bay Bulls Saturday, May 28, 2016 and Sunday, May 29, 2016 from 2-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial to take place from St. Patrick's R.C. Church, Witless Bay on Monday, May 30, 2016 at 1 pm. Interment to follow at Mobile R.C. Cemetery, Mobile. Flowers graciously accepted or donations can be made to Mobile Cemetery Restoration Fund.
