It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend, Catherine Mary (Tee) Ryan, aged 86 years, of Bay Bulls. Predeceased by her husband Nicholas, daughter Fidelas, parents Sylvester and Bridget Tee, sister-in-law Marie Tee, in-laws Nicholas and Susan Ryan, Thomas Ryan and Hannah Ryan, Michael Ryan, Mary Ryan and Helen Ryan, and granddaughter Tara Cahill. Leaving to mourn her Sister and best friend Margaret (Harold), brothers, Michael (Rose) and William. Lovingly remembered by her children, Teresa (Matt) St. Croix with whom she resided, Ann (Ron Sr) Guest, Jerry (Deanne Ryan, Elizabeth (Dave) Watling, Geraldine (Spencer) Collins, Nicholas (Mary) Ryan, Rosara (Joe) Dawe, Marcus (Rita) Ryan, and Jeffery Ryan (Laura). Left with beautiful memories of their Nan are her grandchildren, Leah (Adam), Jonathan (Coady), Briana (Jason), Lisa, Ronnie Jr. (Claire), Megan (Ben), Danielle (Steven), Leslie (Dave), Matthew (Andreita), Cindy, Jesse, James, Krista (Matt), Shane, Joshua (Emma), Megan (Corey Sr.), Stephen (Tiffany), Alexandria, Isabella, James, Tamara; Great-grandchildren, Bailey (Des), Emma, Jayse, Davin (Makayla), Kaiden, Chloe, Hannah, Liam, Luca, Lorenzo, Gabby, Eleanor, Morgan, Corey Jr., Myles, Alanna and Skye; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Also leaving behind with treasured memories is her best friend Elizabeth (Betty) Crocker. Mom enjoyed the company of three special young friends who affectionately called her “Nanny Ryan,” Lauren Penney, Kate Sullivan and Kailey Walsh.
The family would especially like to thank Dr. Wade Mercer and his staff, the dedicated volunteers of the Witless Bay Fire Department and Joe Ryan of Ryan’s Funeral Home for his professionalism and understanding.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Ryan’s Funeral Home, Bay Bulls, Friday April 29th, from 2-9pm. Mass of Christian burial at Sts. Peter and Paul Church, Bay Bulls, Saturday April 30th at 10 a.m. Inurnment to follow at Our Lady of Mount Loretta Cemetery, Bay Bulls. Anyone who knew our Mom, knew how much pleasure she received from gardening, therefore, flowers will be graciously accepted.
As per the families request, masks would be much appreciated.
