Donna Keating Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Donna Marie Keating announces her peaceful passing at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital in St. John’s, NL, on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at the age of 76 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories: her husband, Robert, at Witless Bay, NL. Her children, Margaret (Glenn) ON, Harold (Carol) ON and Bill (Kathy) ON. Stepmother to Rob(Madonna) ON, James (Tanya) NL, Eddie NL, Brenda (Randall) NL and Karen NL.
Donna will be dearly missed by her brothers Cliff (Evelyn), Robert (Bernice) and sister Jan (Gary), sisters-in-law Maureen, Doris, Barb (Ken), Judy (Perry), Marian (Ken), and Sharon (Noel), brothers-in-law Alex (Margie) and Tom.
Predeceased by her brothers-in-law Paul Carey, Deacon Des Keating, Mike Butler and Norm Page.
Donna was a loving grandmother to 23 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. She was known for her love of family and friends. Her infectious smile and kind heart helped her to garner a circle of friends that lasted her lifetime. Her legacy will live on with everyone she interacted with, as well as those she reached out to but never met.
Donna died a winner: 40 years in a twelve step program.
Visitation will be held at Ryan’s Funeral Home, Main Road Bay Bulls on Sunday, December 12, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick’s RC Church, Witless Bay, on Monday, December 13, 2021, at 10:00 am.
