It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Doreen Baker. She passed away peacefully at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Sunday, September 14, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.
Doreen was predeceased by her parents; Alexander and Lillian Baker. She is now reunited with the love of her life Robert Breen and grandson Bradley Breen, brothers and sisters: Wayne, Margret, Maxine (Gerry), Wanda and Dale. Special brother-in-law, Wayne Grouchy.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her granddaughter, Kaylee Churchill, siblings: Joyce, Clyde (Paula), Leonard (Karen), June (Frank), Jackie, Glenda (Garry), Billy (Stephanie), uncle, Gord Pike and special sister-in-law, Doris. Doreen also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, as well as extended family and friends.
A special thank you to Kelly Ralph (nurse), the nurses and doctors at St. Clare’s 5th floor East. Also a big thank you to the cancer clinic.
In keeping with Doreen’s wishes, there will be no visitation and cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre.
