Resting at Ryan''s Funeral Home, Bay Bulls, on Saturday January 30th from 6-9pm, and Sunday, January 31st from 2-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial to take place at Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, Cape Broyle, on Monday, February 1st at 10am. Interment to follow at Our Lady of the Cape R.C. Cemetery, Cape Broyle.
With sad hearts and sweet memories , we announce the passing of Edward John Jordan at age 73 years. Ed passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on January 27, 2016. He will be reunited with his parents , John and Elizabeth Jordan ; Infant Sister Marina Jordan; Sister Mary Paul ; Nephew Gerard Paul and deceased members of Jordan and Gregory families. Left to celebrate his life is his loving wife of 37 years , Edna ( nee Gregory ) ; sons ; Derwin (Anita ), Shaun (Keri ) and daughter Renee ( Michael ). His grandchildren , that always put a smile on his face , Brooklyn, Addison, Jordan and Maria. His brother Brendan ( Annie ) and sister Clara (Onslow) , along with a large circle of nephews, nieces, family and friends. Ed loved truck driving , but his greatest love of all was his family ; they were his world. Ed had a wonderful sense of humour and a gentle soul. He was very entertaining and made a lasting impression on everyone he met. The world will not be the same without him.
If tears could build a stairway
And memories a lane
I'd walk right up to heaven
And bring you home again.
