Elizabeth Crocker Obituary
It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, Elizabeth (Betty) Crocker, age 91 years of Witless Bay.
Predeceased by her husband Fredrick, infant son Gordon, sons Fred (Junior), Patrick and Frank. Brother Pat Mills, Daughter-in-law Peg Crocker, Son-in-law Kevin Power. Also, her 2 special friends Ruby Carey and Kay Ryan.
Lovingly remembered by her children, Harry (Linda), Maudie (Larry Maloney), Shirley (Doug Stoodley), Tommy (Joan), Jeanie, as well as Mary and Donnie, with whom she resided with. Also leaving behind her Daughter-in-law Elaine, Sister Carol Petten and special friend Verdie Maloney.
Leaving a large circle of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and special friends Sheila Carey (Aiden) and Teresa St. Croix and family. She will also be dearly missed by her furry friends Benny and Puddings.
The family would like to thank Dr. Rod McCarthy and his staff for their dedication over the years. The Witless Bay Fire Department, Eastern Health Paramedics, and staff of St. Clare’s Emergency and 6 West.
Visitation at Ryan’s Funeral Home, Bay Bulls, Monday May 30th, from 4-9pm, and Tuesday May 31st, from 2-9pm. Mass of Christian burial at St. Patrick’s R.C Church, Witless Bay on Wednesday June 1st at 10am. Interment to follow at Holy Cross R.C Cemetery, Witless Bay.
In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
