It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our Mother, Grandmother, great-grand mother, sister, aunt and friend. Elizabeth Marion (Lizzie/Beth) (Stoyles) Harding, 1939-06-11 – 2020-09-26.
Pre-deceased by her father Edmund Stoyles, Mother Reta Stoyles, brother Max Stoyles, husband of 60 years James (William) Harding, daughter Cheryl (Harding) Butler, son Jimmy Harding, granddaughter Donna Butler. Left to morn her daughter Mary Dillon (Wayne). Daugher-in-law Lilly Harding, son-in-law Don Butler. Brothers; Lester Stoyles (Rosalind), Gerald Stoyles (Vera), Valmore Stoyles (Maureen). Sisters; Annie Vokey, (Claude deceased), Dorothy Neville (Vince), Linda Aldridge (Lindsay). Sister-in-law Violet Stoyles (Weldon). Grand children; Sean (Nadine), Christopher (Kim), Jamie (Ashley), Amanda (Scott), Ashley (Trevor) Walsh, Stephen. 13 great grand children. Special friends Ann Marie Lundrigan and Cyril Maher. Special thank-you for the staff of 4 South B at the Health Science Centre, and Rev. Karen Thorne. Your thoughtfulness and care giving was above and beyond our expectations.
Resting at Ryan’s Funeral Home, Bay Bulls, COVID-19 restrictions apply (masks required), Monday, September 28, 2020 from 2:00pm-6:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial to take place on Tuesday, September 29, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. St. Patrick’s RC Church, Witless Bay. Interment to follow at Mobile RC Cemetery.
I cried endlessly when you died but I promise,
I won’t let the tears mar the smiles that you’ve given me
when you were alive.
