Elizabeth Mulcahy Obituary

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of our Mom, Nan, Aunt, Sister and Friend, Elizabeth (Betty) Mulcahy, on October 5th 2020 at the age of 88, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her husband Alphonsus (Phonse) Mulcahy, parents Frank and Bridget Bishop, five brothers; Rob (Theresa), Anthony, John, Walter (Mary) and Frank Bishop, and one sister, Anne Tobin, son in law Kenny Tobin and daughter in law Michelle Dunn.

Leaving to mourn with fond memories are her children: Carl (Barb), Colleen, Craig (Sherry) and Diane; her cherished grandchildren: Corey, Stephanie (Andy), Chris, Shawn (Stephanie), Stephen (Sherry), Ryan (Robyn), Lee (Megan), Jeremy (Ashley), Kyle (Jenna), Cody, and Amber. She also leaves behind her precious great-grandchildren; Ben and Gia; sisters: Gert (Jackie), Gen (Pat), Mary, Geraldine (James), Madeline (Bob), brother Gerald (Rosie); and sisters-in-law: Clara, Mary, Lena and Frances, along with special friends Sandra Carew and family.

We would like to thank Dr. Mercer, the paramedics with St. John’s Ambulance, firefighters from Witless Bay Volunteer Fire Department, and the nurses and doctors of floor 4 west at St. Claire’s Hospital, who helped mom in her final days.

Resting at Ryan's Funeral Home, Bay Bulls, COVID-19 restrictions apply (masks required), on Thursday October 8th, 2020 from 5 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial to take place from Sts. Peter & Paul RC Church, Bay Bulls on Friday October 9th, 2020 at 10am. Interment to follow at Our

Lady of Mt. Loretta RC cemetery, Bay Bulls
