It is with great sadness that the family of Elizabeth Anne Tobin (nee Colbert) of Burnt Cove, announce the peaceful passing of their dearly loved and cherished mother on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at the age of 95.
Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband James (2010) and sons; Michael (1977) and Joe (March 2022).
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her five sons: Francis, Billy (Christina), Keith (Alice), Derrick (Mary) and Calvin, six daughters: Marilyn (John), Sheila, Elaine, Linda (Ken), Lisa (Patrick) and Sherry, 24 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, two sisters; Theresa Ralph of Burnt Cove and Agnes Lesho (Penn, USA), as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Resting at Ryan’s Funeral Home, Bay Bulls. Visitation will take place on Sunday, April 3 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm and Monday, April 4 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Witless Bay on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at 10:00 am with interment to follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery, Burnt Cove.
