Visitation will be from 2-9 pm at Ryan''s Funeral Home, Bay Bulls, on Saturday, March 25, 2017 and on Sunday, March 26, 2017. The funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Bay Bulls, on Monday, March 27, 2017 at 2 pm. Cremation to follow and interment to take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, or a charity of one''s choice.
Passed peacefully away at St. Clare''s Mercy Hospital in the arms of his loving wife and the presence of his loving family on March 23, 2017 at the age of 89. Predeceased by his parents William and Gladys, son Wayne, granddaughter Stephanie and other members of the Weir and Rice families. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 63 years, Janie; his children Boyd (Patricia), Lynn (Jim), and Michele (David); his daughter-in-law Mercedes; his grandchildren Earl (Natasha), Melissa (Kenny), Karl (Cheryl), Daniel (Samantha), Wayne (Courtney), Jacqueline (Nathan), Philip (Kelly), Deborah (Tyler), Denise (Tony), Kerri-lynn, Sarah (Adam), Stephen (Kaitie), Aundrea (Jason), and Melissa (Ryan); his great-grandchildren, Kobe, Kendra, Isaac, Gavin, Stephanie, Ethan, Kiara, Henry, Lillie, Carter, Dawson, Owen, Mia, and Isabella; his sister, Dorothy (Weston); brothers-in-law Victor and Robert, sister-in-law Lillian, and other members of the Weir and Rice families.
