Frank Tuff Obituary
It is with great sadness we announce the death of a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Frank James Tuff, aged 71 years, passed suddenly in the presence of his loving family at his home in Witless Bay Wednesday, January 20, 2021.
Predeceased by his parents Maurice and Ella Tuff; sister Mary Lloyd and brothers James and Charles Tuff; mother and father in-law Michael and Marie Boland; brothers-in-law Michael (Mildred), Peter (Ann) and John (Nora) and many members of the Tuff and Boland families.
Mourning his loss are his loving and devoted wife of 48 years, Ellen; his adoring children Chrissy (David), Frankie Williams (Roy), Michael (Sarah), Lisa Coffey (Steve) and Rebecca (Luke); and the joy of his life, his grandchildren Roy (Shannon), Stephen, Julie, Mariah, Liam, Anna and Patrick. His sisters Pat O’Rielly (Alistair), Helen Tuff and brother Maurice (Marie); sisters-in-law Miranda Tuff, Mary Goodridge (Gerald) and brothers-in-law Bob Lloyd, Tom (Linda), Vince (Jeannie), Gordon (Catherine) and Derm (Bernice).
Also left to mourn are many nephews, nieces, extended family and friends whom he greeted with a smile and loved to see cross his doorstep for a visit.
Frank had many passions in his life, most involved enjoying the outdoors - but none were as strong as his passion to be surrounded by his family. He and Ellen took every opportunity to gather with their children and grandchildren and thankfully that has provided many happy memories that will be cherished for years to come.

Cremation and funeral arrangements entrusted to Ryan’s Funeral Home. A family and friends visitation, respecting Covid-19 restrictions, to be held at Ryan’s Funeral Home, Bay Bulls on Sunday, January 24th, 2021 from 2:00 – 9:00 pm. Mass of Christian burial to take place at St. Patrick’s RC Church, Witless Bay on Monday, January 25th, 2021 at 10:00 am. Inurnment to take place at a later date
