Gerald Joseph Howlett

It is with broken hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of a dear husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather and great-grandfather. Gerald J. Howlett of Goulds passed away July 1st. Predeceased by his parents Daniel and Isabelle Howlett, parents-in-law Leo and Margaret Brennan, daughter Margie Carew (2015), son-in-law Michael Keough (2018), and his sisters Kay Carew and Gertrude Vickers. Sisters-in-law Loretta Howlett and Mary Brennan, brothers-in-law Marty Vickers, Leo Brennan and Ronald Vickers.

Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 62 years Della. Daughters: Barbara Keough and Michelle Forward (Rod). Sons: Bradley (Tina), Jeff (Kim), and Shawn. Seven grandchildren: Jamie, Melissa, Brett, Kristen, Trent, Cameron and Chloe. As well as, one great-grandchild, Parker, who will miss his Poppy Goo. Also leaving to mourn: his brother John, his sisters Nora (Joe) Bergeron, Rosie Vickers and Linda Doyle (Stan). Leaving behind dear friends: The Smallwoods, Len and Loretta Collins and Henny and Peggy St. Croix.

Resting at Ryan’s Funeral Home, Bay Bulls on Sunday, July 4 from 4-9, Monday, July 5 from 2-9. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, July 6 at St Kevin’s R.C. church Goulds at 10 AM. Interment to follow at St. Kevin’s R.C. Cemetery.

Flowers gratefully accepted or donations can be made to the Curtis Hudson Memorial Fund.
