Gordon Guest Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Father, Grandfather, Brother and Friend Gordon James Guest born August 29, 1947, and left this world Wednesday, February 12, 2020. at the Health Sciences Center surround by his daughter, granddaughter and sister. Predeceased by his partner of 37 years Nellie (Ellen) Vickers (2015), son Jamie Francis Vickers (2011), Father James Guest and Mother Helen (nee King) Guest.
Left to mourn are his Daughter Tracey (Keith), Son Rodney and daughter Arlene. Grandchildren Shane (Kimberly), Natasha (Josh), Alyssa, Hailey, Devon, Jayden, Blake and his precious angel J'lyn who was his pride and joy. Great Grandchildren Zachary, Hudson and baby James. Brother Bruce Guest (Judy) and Sisters Linda, Roxanne, Jeanette (John), Gail (Ron) and Debbie as well as many nieces and nephews. Special Friends Bob and Beattie Dowden where he went just about everyday.
Special thanks to his sister Jeanette who helped his daughter out for the past few weeks and never left her brothers side. Thank you to the doctors and nurses at the health of science who were so compassionate and helpful. Cremation has taken place.
Resting at Ryan’s Funeral Home, Bay Bulls Monday February 17th, from 2-9pm and on Tuesday February 18th , from 2-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial to take place at St. Patrick’s R.C. Church, Witless Bay on Wednesday, February 19th at 1 p.m. Inurnment to follow at a later date.
