Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Saturday, November 25, 2017, Irene Mary Healey (nee Vickers) of Witless Bay aged 87 years. Predeceased by her husband, Gerard Healey; parents, Mary & William Vickers; sisters Mildred Norris (Ambrose); Elizabeth Riland (Tom); brother Herman Vickers (Patricia); brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Neil Healey (Regina); Brendan Healey, Lawrence Smith, Alex Williams, Jack Roche; niece Wanda (Healey) Robbins; and nephew Bill Riland. Leaving to mourn sons: Glenn (Marilyn), Don, Richard (Loretta), David (Michelle, Aimee (Ricky), Stephen), Rodney (Mondella); grandchildren Ashley Crane (Chris), Shane Healey (Melissa), Trista Healey (Kanwar), Ryan Healey (Stacy), Laura Lynn Loder (Nick), Chelsey Healey (Stephen) and John David Healey; great-grandsons Cullen & Keegan Crane, great grand-daugher Lila Loder; sisters Bertha Williams, Margaret Roche, brothers Bill Vickers, Vince Vickers (Josephine) and sisters-in-law Kay Smith, Chloe Healey. Also leaving to mourn many other nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Resting at Ryan's Funeral Home, Bay Bulls on Monday, Nov. 27, 2017 and Tuesday, November 28, 2017 from 2 pm - 5 pm and 7 pm - 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial to take place on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 10 a.m. from St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Witless Bay with interment to follow at Holy Cross R.C. Cemetery, Witless Bay. In lieu of flowers, a donation in her memory may be made St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Witless Bay.
