Resting from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 28th at Ryan''s Funeral Home in Bay Bulls. His funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 29th at the Saints Peter and Paul Church in Bay Bulls. Following the service, family and friends are invited for a celebration of Jake''s life at the Bay Bulls Lifestyle Centre.
Jacob Lawrence Harold Puddister, "Jake", of Bay Bulls, Newfoundland and Labrador, passed away in his home on August 24th, 2016. He is lovingly remembered and cherished forever by his parents, Marlie (Keegan) and Larry (Sarah); his sister Kelsey (Julia); grandparents Harold & Nora, and Lawrence & Isabelle; aunts and uncles Sandra, Neil, Richard, Linda, Elizabeth, Karl, Lesa, Neil, David, Rosalie, Carolyn, Rob, Deidre, and Shawn; cousins Jimmy, Melanie, Tyler, Britney, Kali, Erin, Natalie, Nielle, Tyler, Bella, Devin, Abby, Charleigh, and Alexa Kay; his best buddies, Ace, Keegan, Michael, and Mitch; his friends, too many to name; and his loyal companion and pup, Kilo. Jake''s humour, intellect, compassion, generosity and integrity were infinite, and he endeared all those he met to his kind heart. A principled and reliable young man, who was the commanding officer of his cadet corps and the owner and operator of a budding business, whose energy filled the room and whose spirit filled the hearts of those he loved, people were proud to call Jake their son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. Jake had a strong desire to help those in need; as such, family and friends are asked to make memorial tributes to the Janeway Mental Health Program in lieu of flowers
