James Maddox Obituary
Maddox, James (Jim) Gerard, (1959-2021); passed away suddenly but peacefully surrounded by his loving pets on March 29th, 2021, after a short illness.
Jim spent his time caring for many pets, visiting his family, and immersing himself in many works of literature and fiction stories.
Jim was predeceased by his loving father William (1973), mother Gertrude (nee Coffey - 2000), brothers Bernard (1997), and Ernest (2019); Nephews: Colin (1993), and Bernie (2015). Leaving to mourn brothers and sisters: Harold (Geraldine), William, Gloria (David), Gus, Dave (Mary), Aiden (Deborah), and Don (Jennifer), sister in laws: Lynne and Bernice; nieces and nephews: Gerard, Ernie, Mary, Keith, Kirk, George, Paul, Russell, Tara, John, Jillian, Miranda, Jessica, and special nieces Nicole and Stacey.
Special thanks to his brother Dave and Mary for their ongoing care and support to Jim.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Ryan’s Funeral Home, Bay Bulls. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation.
Mass of Christian Burial to take place on Friday, April 9th at 10am from Sts. Peter and Paul RC Church, Bay Bulls. Inurnment to follow at Our Lady of Mount Loretta RC Cemetery, Bay Bulls. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, numbers are limited, if you like to attend please contact Aiden.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations in Jim’s memory be made to the Pleas for Paws, St. John’s SPCA or Heavenly Creatures.
