John Daniel Drew

Drew- John Daniel: passed peacefully away in the presence of his family on Monday September 03, 2018 at the Palliative Care Unit, L. A. Miller Centre, John Daniel Drew of Bay Bulls age 81. Predeceased by his wife Elizabeth (Blyde), his parents George and Lizzie Drew, his brothers Gerald and Nicholas, his sisters Margaret Power and Mary Drew, his niece Michelle Doyle, sisters in law Catherine O’ Leary, Mary Murphy, June Ventolo, brother in laws Richard Howlett, Francis Power, George Walters, Joe Murphy, Ted O’ Leary and George Marshall. Leaving to mourn his step-daughter, who was like a daughter Linda (Harold) Sullivan, sisters Florence (Don) Glynn, Ita Howlett, Betty Drew, his brother George (Rita). His sisters in law Nora Drew, Barbara Drew, Olive Walters (New Jersey), Ida Marshall, Joan Wolner (Arkansas), brothers in law Phil (Joan) Blyde and Edward (Bev) Blyde. Also many nieces and nephews and friends. His children Fabian, Lucy, Francis Drew and grandchildren Scott, Michael and Chantel Drew. A special mention to his dear friends Sharon Tobin and Dave Skinner and the staff and residents of Linda’s Personal Care Home, Goulds.

Resting at Ryan’s Funeral Home, Bay Bulls. Visitation will take place on Thursday September 6th from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday September 7th at 2:00 pm from Sts. Peter and Paul R.C. Church, Bay Bulls. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre R.C. Cemetery, St. John’s. Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation may be made to The H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation.
