John Poirier Obituary
Mr. Peter Poirier, age 70, of St. Michael's formerly of St. Nicholas, PEI. passed away on Monday, May 9, 2022 at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital after a brief illness. Peter is survived by his beloved Millie (Dee) Renouf, his children, April, Robert, Adrien and Jennifer, and his dog Ranger. Also Gloria and George Shumko, Paula and Claude Barbeau, Marjorie Ratelle and Joseph Adrian Poirier. He was predeceased by his parents Azade Poirier and Leona Poirier ( nee Gaudet ) and his dog Lady.
Peter dedicated 28 years of service to the Canadian Forces and another 15 years to the Commissionaires. He was well liked and respected through both careers. He was an avid music lover and recreational fisherman. He took pride in his family, work and accomplishments.
The loss of this kind soul and quiet presence will be felt by all those who knew him.
