John Joseph Power

Passed away peacefully in the presence of his loving family on Sunday, June 30, 2019, John Joseph Power of Tors Cove age 79. Predeceased by his parents: Peter and Esther, brother Francis, sister Alice, sisters-in-law Irene, Margaret & Agnes, brothers in-law Peter Swain & Joseph Williams and niece Michelle Power. Left with fond and loving memories are his brothers and sisters: Carmel Swain, Clotilda Williams, Catherine Duggan (John), Wilfred (Catherine), Jerome, Alfred (Rita), Margaret Carew (Reginald), Viola Aspell (Edward), many nieces, nephews & a large circle of relatives & friends especially his homecare worker Alison Croft. Special thanks to the staff and nurses of the 4th Floor, St. Clare’s and the Kidney Care Centre. Resting at Ryan’s Funeral Home, Bay Bulls. Visitation on Wednesday, July 3rd from 2 - 9pm. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:00am on Thursday, July 4th from St. Patrick’s RC. Church, Witless Bay. Cremation to follow with Inurnment at a later date. Flowers greatly accepted or a donation in John’s memory may be made to the Kidney Care Foundation.
