John Williams Obituary
John A. Williams passed away peacefully, at the age of 82, on May 18th, 2024.
Left to mourn are his devoted wife of 59 years, Geraldine (O'Dea), whom he lovingly referred to as "Ger", his children; Janice (Neville) Frampton, Wanda, Johnny, Roy Sr. (Frankie), his grandchildren; Blair, Shane, Blake, Roy Jr. (Shannon), and his best friend, Eddie Sinnott (Daphne).
Born on April 25th, 1942, John was a hard worker. As a young man, he enjoyed being on the water as the chief engineer of the MV D'Vora before settling in his hometown of Bay Bulls to raise his family, where he became a self-employed businessman who owned John's Bus Service, John's Garage, and John's Trucking.
John loved to reminisce about his many trips to PEI with his wife and going to Montreal and Ottawa to purchase buses, attending auctions with his buddy Eddie. He loved dancing, music, having a drink and spending time with family and friends. True to his straightforward nature, he was cremated according to his wishes, with no visitation or service held.
A life well-lived, John will be remembered for his work ethic, adventures at sea, and appreciation for life's simple pleasures.
