Laurence Hayden Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Laurence Karlson (Carl) Hayden on January 2, 2019. Carl, who was born October 26, 1952, is best known for his comedic spirit and for being an avid outdoorsman, who will be missed by his many trouting and hunting buddies.
After a short battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving family, Carl joined his mother and father, Florence and Lawrence Hayden and brothers Clyde, Wayne, and Russell, brother-in-laws Patrick Melvin, Desmond Keating, Kevin and Aiden Murphy, and Dougie Carew.
Leaving behind with a lifetime of memories, his best friend and loving wife Sharon and his five beloved children Laura (Nasser), Karen (Jonathan), Rebecca, Kayla (Richard), Jacob (Jessica), and his two precious grandchildren Alistair and Oliver; his brothers and sisters, Sandra (Robert), Kippy (Michelle), Debbie, Kurt, Tammy (Wayne), Bonnie (Perry), Mickey (Sonya), in-laws: Maureen, Mina, Thomas (Mary), Sheilagh (Ron), Kay (Nick), Uriel (Jimmy), Dianna (Bobby); extended family and many nieces and nephews.
Resting at Ryan’s Funeral Home, Bay Bulls, on Friday, January 4th from 12 noon to 9:00 P.M. and on Saturday, January 5th from 10:00 A.M. to 1:30 P.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial to take place on Saturday at 2:00 P.M. at St. Patrick’s R. C. Church, Witless Bay.
Carl’s family would like to extend their many thanks to all the staff at The Health Sciences Centre and the Leonard A. Miller Centre
