Lavina Kane Obituary
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our sister Lavina Kane on Sunday September 24th at the Health Science Centre after a long hard battle with Cancer.
Predeceased by her parents John and Marie Kane, brother Bernard, sister Theresa Richards and special Uncle Tom.
Leaving to mourn her passing are her sisters Mary Greene, Ann Ryan and Bernadette Cole(Tom) and her brothers John Joe(Mona White), Peter(Sharon), and Frank(Dorothy Ann), her special Nephew Jonathan Kane and great nephew Jayden Kane whom she loved dearly. Also leaving to mourn her special cousin Cathy Brewer whom she thought of as a sister, Aunt Martha. As well as numerous nieces and nephews, and other family and friends.
We would like to express our deepest thanks to the nursing staff at 4 North A and 4 South B for their compassion and care.
Resting at Ryan's Funeral Home, Bay Bulls on Thursday, September 28th from 6 - 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial to take place at Immaculate Conception RC Church, Cape Broyle on Friday, September 29th at 11:30am. Inurnment to follow at the Old RC Cemetery, Cape Broyle.
In lieu of flowers we ask that donations be made to the SPCA as this was a dear and near cause to her heart.
