Vickers, Lawrence (Larry) Patrick, 1939 - 2016
It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of a beloved husband, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle and friend, on April 30, 2016.
Larry''s passing leaves a large empty space in our hearts. He will be forever remembered by his best friend and wife of 33 years, Margaret (Carter), sisters Sue Scott (Georgia, USA), Carol (James Clarke, NY, USA), Elaine (Terry Collins), Catherine (Michel Manuzza, Italy), sisters-in-law Florence Vickers, Joan Hutchings and Teresa Hutchings, nieces Corinne, Karen (Darryl Stanley) and Christine (Colin Power) as well as countless other relatives and friends. Larry was a very proud and loving great-uncle to his best buddies, Nolan, Emily & Christopher who will miss Uncle Larry deeply.
Larry was predeceased by his parents Lar & Catherine (Kitty) Vickers, brother Chris, sisters Helen and Mary and brothers-in-law Tom and Sam Carter.
At Larry''s request, cremation has taken place. The family will receive relatives and friends at Ryan''s Funeral Home, Bay Bulls, on Wednesday May 4th from 2pm to 9pm, and Thursday May 5th from 10am to 12pm. A Celebration of Life will take place at 1:00pm on Thursday, May 5th at Sts. Peter and Paul RC Church, Bay Bulls.
No flowers by request, donations can be made to the charity of one''s choice.
