Lorne Williams

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our beloved son Lorne Williams, formerly of Bay Bulls, NL on October 7th, 2024 at the age of 59 years.

He passed peacefully away in the arms of his loving wife Cheryl, after a short but courageous battle with cancer, on Salt Spring Island, BC.

Left to mourn are Lorne’s parents; Harry and Bernadette Williams of Brigus, NL formerly of Bay Bulls, NL, brother Tony of Nova Scotia, special cousin David (Debbie) St. Croix, also Terry (Joyce) Kinsella and Andre (Angela) Kinsella, aunt Joan (Edgar) Dalley and uncle, Wayne (Sheila) Williams, as well as a large circle of relatives from the Williams and St. Croix families.

He was predeceased by his grandparents; William and Jane St. Croix and Harry and Joan Williams, special aunts; Mary St. Croix and Pat (Val) Kinsella and other members of the Williams and St. Croix families.

Cremation has taken place at Salt Spring Island, BC. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

If friends so desire, donations in Lorne’s memory may be made to the SPCA or the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Center.
