Margaret Louise Shipp

It is with heavy hearts that the Shipp family announce the passing of Margaret Louise, the preppy spark and guiding compass of our family. Brian, Kim and Rosslyn, grandchildren Margot and Ewan, son-in-laws Neil and Matt, along with Margie’s remaining siblings Edward, Sue and John deeply feel the loss of a wonderful wife, mother, and sister.

A sincere thank you to Margie’s amazing home care nurse Kathy for the exceptional care she gifted our family. Thank you to the fantastic care teams at Chancellor’s Park. We feel incredible gratitude for the loving care and support you provided our family.

A visitation will take place at Ryan’s Funeral Home, Bay Bulls on April 22nd from 11am – 1pm, followed by a funeral and celebration of life at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Bay Bulls at 2pm. A small reception will follow at the Shipp family home in Bay Bulls.

In lieu of flowers, donations are most welcome and can be made to Diabetes Canada, the St. John’s SPCA, or the Alzheimer’s Society NL.
