Mary Rita Jarvis

Mary peacefully passed away on April 11th, 2015 at the age of 66. She was surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by her parents John and Julia Puddister of Bay Bulls; siblings; Jeremiah Puddister, Nora Tobin (Bernard), Joseph Puddister, Clem Cronin, Loyola Puddister (Yvonne) and Bernard Puddister. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years Fred Jarvis of Witless Bay. Daughters, Kim Masson (William) grandson Ewan of New Castle, England. Nicole Jarvis (Morgan Edwards) grandson Rory and Reid of Brigis South. Shannon Crocker (Fred) grandchildren Hailey and Michael of Mobile. Krista Jarvis (Ryan Slaney) of St. John's. Siblings John Puddister (Perpertua), Harry Puddister (Alfreda), Charles Puddister (Janice). Mary was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother who was always there to support her family. She had many creative talents including painting beautiful pictures, gardening, sewing, knitting and pottery. She loved to laugh, dance and have fun. She passed down these talents and love of life down to her children. It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to such a beautiful person. She will be greatly missed by all. Mary will be resting at Ryans funeral home in Bay Bulls Monday from 2-9 pm, Tuesday 3-10 pm, and Wednesday 8-10 am. Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday at 11:00 am April, 15th at St. Peter and Paul's RC church, Bay Bulls. Interment to follow at Our Lady of Mount Loretta RC Cemetery, Bay Bulls.
