Resting at Ryan's Funeral Home, Bay Bulls Thursday, December 4th and Friday December 5th 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 6:00 - 9:00 pm. Mass of Christian burial 11:00 am December 6th at St. Peters and Paul Church, Bay Bulls with internment to follow at our Lady of Mount Loretta Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to a charity of your choice.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, Mary Ellen Williams (nee Mulrooney) age 94 of Bay Bulls, formerly of Great Paradise, NL on Tuesday, December 2nd at St. Patrick's Mercy Home. Predeceased by her husband, Angus and daughter, Lorraine; parents James and Elizabeth Mulrooney, stepmother, Mary Mulrooney and sister, Margaret Tobin. Leaving to mourn her daughters: Alicia (Ed Blackler), Jeanette (Ray Peters), Sandra (Duncan Costello), Eleanor (Harold Ronayne), Ursula (Craig Maloney); Sons: Derrick (Elizabeth), Jerry (Ann), Don (Debbie); Grandchildren: Michelle, Sean, Corey, Jason, Renee, Danielle, Liam, Deirdra, Justin, Mark, Darryl, Stefan and Donetta; Great-grandchildren: Samantha, Kaelan, Conor, Kane, Italia, Mason and Kai; Special niece, Veronica Leonard (Mike). A special thanks to Dr. Rodney McCarthy and Dr. Sandy Ennis and the Staff of 2 North, St. Patrick's Mercy Home for their professional care, kindness and compassion shown to Mom. Mom touched the lives of so many with her kindness, generosity and hospitality. She showed remarkable strength facing the challenges of life and her declining health in recent years. Mom, we love you and you will surely be missed.
