Passed peacefully away at St Patrick's Mercy Home on March 28, 2016, Michael Patrick Butler of Witless Bay, formerly of Bell Island. Pre-deceased by his parents James and Angela and his brother Frank. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Doris of 49 years and his sister Anne, as well as sister-in-law Josie and nephews Jim (Jeanne) and Craig (Carolyn). Brothers and sisters-in-law also include Deacon Desmond Keating (Maureen), Barbara Carey (Ken White), Alec Keating (Margie), Robert Keating (Donna), Judy Ellis (Perry), Marian Page, Sharon Keating and Tommy Keating. For almost five years Mike''s "extended family" has also included the Nurses of 2 N&S and 2E&W as well as the Recreation Staff at St Patrick's Mercy Home and special friend and card buddy Jim Ring.
Visitation at Ryan''s Funeral Home, Bay Bulls on Friday, April 1st from 2 to 9 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick''s R.C. Church, Witless Bay on Saturday, April 2nd at 10:30 a.m.
Inurnment to follow at Holy Cross R.C. Cemetary, Witless Bay.
Donations n his memory may to be made to St. Patrick''s Church Renovation Fund or Witless Bay Volunteer Fire Department.
