Morgan Lundrigan Obituary

Passed away suddenly, Morgan Lundrigan, age 73 years.

Predeceased by his parents Bridie and Woodley, spouse Jeanette (nee Cleary) siblings James, Wally, Paddy (Regina), Joe, Vince, Michael, Kathleen. Brother in-law Michael Harrigan.

Left to mourn his wife Winnie (nee Farrell), daughters Jill Lundrigan and Kim Hatfield (Jeff), his cherished granddaughters Keira and Julia Hatfield. Stepson Ronnie Farrell (Emma Hayes). Siblings and family: Larry Lundrigan (Janet), Annie Harrigan, Beatie Dowden (Bob), Margie Keating (Alex), Margie Lundrigan, Anita Lundrigan, Alice Lundrigan, Ann Marie Lundrigan. Morgan was blessed to have two wonderful families by marriage that he will be missed and remembered by: Ruth Connolly (Joe), Dorothy Squires, Stan Squires (Cynthia), Clayton Squires (Ethel), Cynthia Murphy, Ron Squires (Linda), Sharon Morris (John), Brenda Whelan (Ricky), Maureen Condon (Leonard), Dianne Walsh (Gerald), Billy Cleary (Nancy), Brian Cleary (Stacey) and a large circle of relatives and friends.

He enjoyed time in the woods riding his bike or ski-doo with buddies Trevor Carter, David Carter, Stephen Ronayne and Ronnie Power and will be missed by many that he met on the trail.

Morgan will be remembered fondly for many reasons. He was a proud Light and Power Lineman retiree and was known to drop his fork halfway through supper to attend a callout. He was one of the strongest dancers on the floor at all the functions he attended. (Most of the ladies walked away with sore arms.) His garage was a meeting place for many locals and he loved to be out there fixing things. He enjoyed gatherings, music, dance and sometimes a sociable. In retirement he enjoyed walks with Winnie and his four legged friend Lilly, hanging out with his buddies at one of several cabins and gripping the handlebars of the bike or snowmobile. He was sometimes considered the oldest teenager in Witless Bay. His passing leaves a large hole in our hearts.
