Devey, Patricia Josephine (nee Lynch) passed away peacefully at Palliative Care at the Leonard A. Miller Centre, St. John''s on the 21st of February, 2015 in her 75th year. Patricia Devey of Bay Bulls, Newfoundland, beloved wife of Thomas Edwin Devey of Ottawa. Mother of Karen (the late Ivan) Reedman and Patti-Lynn (John Kiiffner) Tuff of Ottawa, and Dennis (Surekha) Tuff of Houston Texas; respectively, loving Grandmother of Mitchell and Emily Reedman, Ottawa; Alexander and Lauren Kiiffner, Ottawa; and Kieren, Caleb and Bronwyn Tuff, Houston. She was predeceased by her parents Edmond and Madeline Lynch and brother Sylvester, Ivan Reedman, son-in-law and by her best friend Von (Maloney) Hearn.
Leaving to mourn are Sisters Von (Carmen) Yannielli of Connecticut; Madonna (Maxwell) Maloney of Bay Bulls, Evelyn (the late Aeneas) O''Leary of Brampton, Joselyn Carew of Edmonton, Margie Dinn of Bay Bulls, Leonard (Elaine) Lynch of Calgary, Edmond (Craig Bennett) Lynch of Toronto,
Patricia leaves behind friends new and old and many are broken-hearted by her unexpected departure. Her recent decision to move back to Newfoundland gave her great joy as did her many travel adventures with her family. Anyone who knew Patricia felt loved and accepted, she enjoyed the simple pleasures that being with her friends and family brought her.
Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice in Patricia's honour.
By her own wishes there will be no visitation or ceremony. Patricia was cremated, her remains are to be divided and interred beside her first Husband James Tuff and her parents Edmond and Madeline Lynch. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at a later date. Details will be posted in the near future.
