Patricia Ann Watters

Passed peacefully away at Pleasant View Towers on June 26th at the age of 72. Predeceased by her parents Edward & Mary Margaret Watters. Leaving to mourn in Maryland USA, her brother Edward and her sister in law Claire, sister Suzanne, nephew Ted in which whom she loved like a son and his wife Jess, and Emma Grace Pat’s great niece whom she never got to meet but would have adored. Also leaving to mourn, her special friends Blanche and Len Courtney and Edward & Victoria Gosse, as well as her former colleagues and friends in the USA. Pat moved to Newfoundland from Maryland over 19 years ago when she retired from her career as a Social worker. She fell in love with this beautiful province in which she called home.

Her Newfoundland dogs were her loyal companions over the years and in the summers they would visit the local boat tours in Bay Bulls and would love to greet and socialize with the tourists. Pat loved sharing her passion for Newfoundland Dogs and for the island she quickly fell in love with.

Wishing to stay in her own home until she went to Pleasant View Towers, Pat had wonderful support from the staff of Quality Home Care. We thank them for their excellent compassion and kindness shown to Pat over the years.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Ryan’s Funeral Home, Bay Bulls. Cremation has taken place.

Mass of Christian burial to take place from Sts. Peter and Paul R.C. Church, Bay Bulls on Wednesday July 1st, 2020. Inurnment to follow at Our Lady of Mount Loretta R.C. Cemetery, Bay Bulls.
