Patty Cronin Obituary
It is with the heaviest of hearts but a lifetime of wonderful memories, we announce the passing of our beloved fiancée, sister and best friend, Patty Anne Cronin, on December 4th, 2022 at the age of 48 years. Patty Anne had a beautiful and gentle soul and was well loved by all who had the privilege of knowing her during her short life.
Predeceased by her mother, Clementine (affectionately known as Clem by Patty Anne’s circle of friends), her sister Roxanne Mullowney and her brother-in-law Derek Mullowney, as well as her beloved cat, Jinx,
Patty Anne leaves to mourn her fiancée, David O’Driscoll, and her four legged fur babies Misty, Cammie, Finnegan and Paddy; her brother Tommy (Paulette), sister Carol Anne (Tony), her nieces Jillian (Daryl), Julia (Kevin), Sarah (Olivia), Jessica and her nephew, Mike. She will also be missed deeply by her large circle of cousins in the Puddester family. Patty Anne’s love for her family was never dimmed, as was seen by her many messages of memories on special occasions remembering her mother, her sister, and her brother-in-law always on special anniversaries.
The void left by Patty Anne’s passing is also deeply felt by her large circle of extended family and friends, especially her best friends Patti and Tony Walsh
(Jaimee, Josh, Devon and her BESTEST FRIEND Lauren), Jennifer and David Bruce (Hunter, Phoebe and Oliver), Kelly Nippard, and Dave Tibo (Anna and Cody).
Memories of Patty Anne will linger with us always: her love of sunshine, puttering in her garden, relaxing on her patio, travelling and experiencing new adventures, never forgetting someone’s birthday, munching through a bag of wine gums, and having a beer and wings at one of her favourite spots, “The Duke on Duckworth”.
Professionally, Patty Anne was a nurse and spent most of her career with Canadian Blood Services until illness overtook her. Even in illness, she never lost her compassion for others and was always there to give of herself to someone else.
We send a special thank you to the Staff and Doctors in the ICU at the HSC for their respect and compassion to Patty Anne during all stages of her illness, especially in these last few weeks.
Fly high with the angels, Patty Anne, and know that the memories of your life with us will never be forgotten.

Mass of Christian Burial to take place from Sts. Peter and Paul RC Church, Bay Bulls on Thursday, December 8th, at 10:00 am.
Inurnment to follow at Our Lady of Mount Loretta RC Cemetery, Bay Bulls.
