It is with great sadness that the family announce the peaceful passing of their beloved father, grandfather and brother, Raymond Doyle. Raymond passed away at St. Patrick’s Mercy home surrounded by his family at the age of 81.
He was predeceased by his loving wife Bridget Doyle (Carey), infant son, parents; James and Catherine Doyle, brothers: Jimmy, Greg and Charlie, sister, Marie and nephew, Randy. Also, his in-laws and other members of the Carey family.
Leaving to mourn are his three sons, Dwayne (Lorraine), Chris (Trina) and Brian (Melissa), six grandchildren: Ryan (Katie), Christian (Jayme), Taryn (Sam), Lynden, Gracie and Connor, two great-grandchildren; Ellie & Jackson brothers; Loyola (Nancy) and Teddy (Joan), sisters: Eileen (Paul) Long, Joan (Donnie) Carew and Florence, as well as a large circle of family and friends.
Raymond was a quiet man who loved his family deeply. He adored his wife and had a great passion for music, especially playing the accordion and guitar. He was an avid blueberry picker and thoroughly enjoyed playing checkers with his grandkids. Raymond will be remembered for his playful sense of humor and his steadfast love for his children and grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the staff at St. Patrick’s Mercy home for all their care and compassion in the last two years and especially during his final days. Also, to the staff at Alderwood Estates during his stay there.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Ryan's Funeral Home, Bay Bulls on Monday, September 29th from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Cape Broyle on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at 11:00 am with inurnment to follow at Our Lady of the Cape Cemetery, Cape Broyle.
Raymond’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
