Passed peacefully away at St. Clare''s Mercy Hospital on April 1, 2017, Regina Mary Mullowney (nee Lake), formerly of Kilbride and Glavine St., aged 80 years. Predeceased by her husband Greg, parents Abraham and Ellen Lake, brother Jim, stepdaughter Valerie Mullowney, grandson David Emberley, and son-in-law Kevin Emberley. Left to mourn, but to celebrate a life well-lived, are her sister, Betty Pittman (Vince), nieces and nephews Debbie, Howard, Terry, Ken and Lorelei Pittman, Montreal, sister-in-law Sadie Lake, stepchildren Lynn Emberley, Sandra & Sylvester Cahill, Audrey & John O''Rielly, Jim & Cheryl, Sean & Lisa, grandchildren Laura & Chris Doyle (Cohen & Rhea), Claire & Ronnie Guest (Chloe & Hannah), Sarah Emberley, Gary & Kayla Cahill, Kristen & Peter Kavanagh, Jessica Cahill (Sean Drew), Jane & Erin O''Rielly, Dana, Meagan & Abby, Neela & Greg Mullowney and a large circle of other relatives and friends.
Resting at Ryan''s Funeral Home, Bay Bulls. Visitation on Monday, April 3 from 2:00 - 9:00 PM, and Tuesday, April 4 from 2:00 - 9:00 PM. Funeral Mass at St. Patrick''s Church, Witless Bay on Wednesday, April 5 at 10:00 AM. Burial to follow at Holy Cross cemetery, Witless Bay. Thank you to the homecare workers who cared for Regina on Glavine St. as well as the staff of Hillcrest Estates and 6W St. Clare''s. May she rest in peace.
