Connors, Rhoda Jean (nee Rice)
Passed suddenly away on January 10, 2024 at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital aged 70.
Predeceased by her parents Robert and Jane Rice, brothers Clyde (Jeannie) and Gordon (Bev) , her parents-in-law James and Theresa Connors, and brothers-in-law Jimmy Connors and Randy Connors.
Leaving to mourn with lots of wonderful memories are her husband and best friend Tom, her 3 daughters Lori (Shawn), Kelly (Paul), and Kayla (Gerald). Her granddaughter and light of her life, Kera Rose, step-granddaughter Cassandra, and step-great-grandson Cayden.
Also leaving to mourn her brother and sister-in-law, Wilbur and Mary Rice, her sister and brother-in-law Barb and John Whiteway, her special aunt Lil in Nova Scotia whom she loved to visit at her camper. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and other relatives here and abroad who she kept in touch with online.
We would like to say thank you to her neighbors and friends for their support and friendship throughout the years, Joe and Rose White, Paul and Ann Black, Jamie, Fran, & Natalie Brewer, Dan Noftall, and Thelma Reid.
We would like to give special thanks to Dr Falk, Dr Li, and all the staff of 6 East St Clare’s who went above and beyond for the last six months. You had become like a second family to her. Thank you to Claudette (Community Health) for the compassion and care you showed her.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or service as per her wishes. Inurnment to take place at Holy Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Bay Bulls on June 13th, 2024 at 2 pm. Arrangements entrusted to Ryan’s Funeral Home in Bay Bulls.
Donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
