Rita Lahey Obituary
With heavy hearts full of love and beautiful memories, we announce the passing of our mom Rita Lahey of Cape Broyle on August 3rd, 2018, predeceased by her loving husband John on March 7, 2018.
Leaving their children Michael (Bertha), Mona, Adrian (Debbie), Anita (Fabian), and Margie (Paul) to share many fond and loving memories. Sure to be missed by grandchildren, Duane, Lisa & Darrell Lahey, Adam & Nicholas Jackson, Courtney & Meaghan Hyde, Terri-Lynn, Stacey & Jonathan Rossiter along with 16 great grandchildren. Also left to mourn are a large number of nieces and nephews including a very special niece Eileen who was always there for us. As well as a large circle of relatives and friends. A special thanks to the wonderful staff of 1 South/North and Dr. Larry Alteen at St. Patrick's Mercy Home for your professional and personal care.
Resting at Ryan's Funeral Home, Bay Bulls on Sunday August 5th from 2 -5 pm and 6:30-9pm, and on Monday August 6th from 2-5 pm and 6:30-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial to take place on Tuesday August 7th at 11am from Immaculate Conception RC Church, Cape Broyle. Interment to follow at Our Lady of the Cape RC Cemetery, Cape Broyle. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
