Resting at Ryan's Funeral Home, Bay Bulls on Sunday, August 27th from 4 to 9pm and Monday from 2pm to 9pm. Mass of Christian Burial to take place on Tuesday, August 29th, 2017 at 10am from St.Patrick's R.C. Church, Witless Bay. Internment to follow at Sacred Heart R.C. Cemetery, Tors Cove.Rita M. Melvin - December 10th, 1930 - August 26th, 2017 - It is with very heavy hearts the family announce the peaceful passing of our mom Rita Marie nee (Antle) Melvin. Age 86,at the Health Sciences Centre,on August 26th, 2017. Predeceased by her loving husband Samuel, Mother and Father, Priscilla and George Antle, Brothers, Leonard and Philip(Caroline)sisters Theresa Wilcott, Mary (George) Power and Elizabeth(Owen)Power,brother in-law Greg Kelly,granddaughter Sarah Lorna Antle,grandson Raymond Crane,and very special friend Edmund O'Driscoll.Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children-Alvin{Cindy} Madonna{Eugene} Genevieve, Diane{Randy}Gerard{Colleen}Martha{Jimmy}Leona and Jacqueline.
