Resting at Ryan''s Funeral Home, Bay Bulls on Friday, January 16 and Saturday, January 17, from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM, and 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM. Mass of Christian burial to take place from St. Patrick''s R.C. Church Witless Bay on Sunday, January 18 at 2:00 PM. Interment to follow at Holy Cross R.C. Cemetery, Witless Bay. Flowers gratefully accepted, or in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre.

Passed away suddenly after a short illness, surrounded by his wife, children and family at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Wednesday January 14, 2015.
Robert James Kennedy age 57 years. Pre-deceased by Wife Lillian Kennedy, Parents James and Shirley Kennedy, Sister Anne Chidley, nephews Aidan and Jeffery O'Driscoll. Robert (Bobby) leaves to mourn his wife Catherine, daughters Courtney Walsh (Darryl), Michele Kennedy (Ray Brinston), Sons Tony Tobin and Michael Tobin (Sara), Three Grandchildren Cohen Tobin, Ava Walsh and Ethan Tobin. Sisters Theresa (Albert), Donna (Patrick) and Irene (Loyola). Brothers Jimmy (Deja), Michael (Margaret), Ricky (Kay), David (Penney), Wade (Karen). Special golf buddies Fred and Linda as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, family, friends and coworkers.
A special thanks to the staff of 6 East at St. Clare's and Doctor Cox and staff for the excellent care provided during his short illness. Bobby had a zest for life and will be missed by all those who knew him.
