It is with broken hearts but loving memories that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather. Robert Patrick Molloy of Admiral’s Cove passed peacefully away on January 8, 2024, surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer at the Palliative Care Unit.
Predeceased by his parents; Bridget Molloy-Doyle, father; Patrick Molloy, Stepfather Frank Doyle, brothers; Patrick and Tom Molloy and sister Sarah Molloy. Brother in-laws; Alfred Swain, Thomas Hawkins and Gus White. Mother in-law; Patricia Hawkins (nee Power), father in-law; Pius Hayes and Stepfather in-law Clarence Hawkins.

Leaving to mourn, the love of his life and best friend, his wife of 49 years, Mildred (nee Hayes) His pride and joy, his children; Roddy (Margie), Patrick (Lisa). His grandchildren; Dustin (Olivia), Mason (Brooke), Matthew (Brooklyn). His brother; Bill (Janet), sisters; Betty Swain, Mack Nelson (Tommy). His brother in-laws; Junior Hayes (Esther), Maureen Paul (Darryl), Randy Hayes (Darlene), Darrell Hayes (Joan), Wanda Whelan (Kevin) and Harold Hayes (Shannon).

Also mourning his loss are his good friends Dan Carew and Ronnie Harvey, along with many other cherished friends, nieces, nephews, cousins and neighbor's.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to our community Health Nurse; Michelle Rossiter. Your kindness, unwavering compassion, and dedication have been a beacon of hope and comfort during this challenging journey and to the incredible team of doctors, nurses, and staff at the palliative care unit.

Robert was known for his generosity, community taxi, and occasional tormenting. He loved his game of cards and cornhole.

Cremation has taken place. Burial to follow at a later date.
