It is with deep sadness, that we announce the passing of Rose; a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Rose, age 79, passed away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on October 16, 2022; surrounded by her husband, daughters, grandson and sons-in law.
Rose was predeceased by her parents – Sam and Elizabeth (Lynch) O’Driscoll, as well as, her dear sister Jeannie and brother-in-law Clyde Rice, parents-in-law Bridget and Sylvester Tee, sister-in-law Catherine and her husband Nicholas Ryan, sister-in-law Marie Tee and various other members of the Tee, O’Driscoll, Lynch and Ryan families.
Leaving to mourn with special memories and sad hearts are her darling husband and best friend Michael, her children – Rose (Herb), Evelyn, Gina (Robert) and grandson Evan (Melissa). Rose leaves behind her dear brothers - Harold (Margaret) and Dominic (Anne), brother-in-law Willie Tee; as well as a niece, nephews and cousins of whom she was very fond of and who added to her full and happy life.
Rose always looked forward to gravel pit camping each summer; when she and Michael would trout, enjoy nature and socialize with their camping buddies. Rose and Michael played cribbage or some other card game every day, never missed “Days of Our Lives”, and could be found playing radio Bingo on Saturday evenings. Rose loved to read, listen to music and solving Wordscapes on her tablet.
Rose wished for a simple Service of Remembrance at Sacred Heart cemetery chapel, Tors Cove, with burial to follow at St. Michael’s cemetery, St. Michael’s. Service will be on Thursday, October 20, 2022, at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a local Food Bank or other charity.
