With broken hearts and a lifetime of cherished memories we announce the passing of our beloved father, Sean O’Toole, at the age of 79 years. He passed from this world peacefully and on his own terms, at home surrounded by his loving children on Friday, January 7th, 2022. He’s welcomed into paradise by his brother Bernard, sister Sandra, parents Frank and Isobel O’Toole, best buddies Des Chafe and Pat Fleming, and many other friends and family members who have gone before him.
He is survived by his devoted children; Annie (Matthew), Keegan (Marlie), and Maggie (Tyler), as well as his pride and joy, his grandson Owen. To know him was to love him, a sentiment made true by the tremendous circle of extended family and friends that he also leaves behind. We cannot thank you all enough for the love and support you’ve provided us with during this difficult time.
He was an avid outdoorsman, a talented painter, and gardener with a zest for life and a sharp sense of humor that he carried with him until the end. He loved the home he built on Horsechops Road; it was his sanctuary. He was a storyteller and an entertainer who enjoyed sharing his life experiences with anyone who would listen. A jack of all trades but master of none. Always the life of the party. Forever our “King of the Road”.
We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Dr. Larsen, Dr. McManamon, nurses Michelle & Laura, and Katie & staff at Baltimore Pharmacy for their help and compassion over the last few months.
Cremation has taken place and due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Donations can be made in his memory to the Janeway Children’s Foundation.
Funeral arrangement's entrusted through Ryan's Funeral Services, Bay Bulls
