Tedarus Bassett

Tedarus (Ted) James Bassett age 75 years passed peacefully away at his home on September 13th after his battle with cancer. Predeceased by his mother and father, Robert & Muriel Bassett and loving brother Steve. Leaving to mourn his loving partner of 20 years Patricia, two sons Todd & Robert, daughter Dana (Jamie), two stepdaughters Dawn (Jim), Levina (Adam), and three grandsons Bradley, Kyle and Justin. Sister Eleanor, brother Robert (Martina), nieces and nephews Donny, Veronica(Brian), Tony, Jeff and Melissa along with a large circle of friends.

Special thank you to Jordan, Chanty and Medhi from Comfort Home Care for all the care and kindness you showed Ted, Laurie Yetman Lander at Community Health for all your support and kindness, and family and friends who have been there with Ted through these hard times.

Ted spent four decades of hard work managing The Greenwood Motel side by side with his mother, he could put his hand to anything in the motel books, maintenance, reno’s he was a jack of all trades and a friend to all.

Resting after cremation at Cauls Funeral Home on LeMarchant Road, St. John's. Visitation to take place on Thursday, September 16th 5-9pm. Funeral mass to take place at Mary Queen of the World church on Friday September 17th at 10:30am.
