Theresa Greene Obituary
Greene – Heaven has gained a special angel, it is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of our dear mother, Theresa Marie Greene (Nanny Greene),on Monday, February 14th, four days short of her 94th Birthday. She was surrounded by the love of her family as she entered into eternal rest. Predeceased by her husband Jimmy, her son Raymond, daughter-in-law Maureen, sister Martha Payne and brother Bernard Rossiter. Leaving to mourn with the most precious memories her children, Cathy (Janet), Kevin (Diane), Maxine Houlihan (Sean), Marion Trahey (Ken), Phyllis Ronayne (Paul), James (Arlene), her 10 grandchildren Chris (Caitlyn), Angela (Nathaniel), Sarah (Michael), Neil (Leah), Laura (Geoff), Brian (Stacia), Dawn (Adam), Katie (Jess), Jamie, Daniel (Amanda) and by heart, Madison, 9 great grandchildren, Arthur, Theodore, Liam, Anna, Patrick, Louis, Annie, Garrett and Nova, who brought her so much joy and she treasured every moment she spent with them. Her cherished sister Bridget Hennessey (Gerry), sisters-in-law, Betty Greene and Dianne Greene, very special friends Blanche Cahill, Hilda Carter and her lifetime neighbors and friends, the Brinston Family. She also so enjoyed the friendships she shared within the 50 Plus Club and with her bingo buddies. With heartfelt gratitude the family would like to thank Dr. Rod McCarthy for whom she had so much respect and admiration for, the staff of Bay Bulls Family Practice, the Medicine Corner and Community Health Nurse Nicole Sharpe.
Resting at Ryan’s Funeral Home, Bay Bulls. Visitation will be held from 4pm-8pm on Wednesday February 16th, and 2pm-8pm on Thursday, February 17th. Funeral service will be held at St. Patrick’s RC Church, Witless Bay at 10 am on Friday, February 18th. In lieu of flowers donation in her memory may be made to the Holy Cross RC Cemetery, Witless Bay.

Resting at Ryan’s Funeral Home, Bay Bulls. Visitation will be held from 4pm-8pm on Wednesday February 16th, and 2pm-8pm on Thursday, February 17th. Funeral service will be held at St. Patrick’s RC Church, Witless Bay at 10 am on Friday, February 18th.
